Hey Prospective Hoyas! My name is Molly Keogh and I am a senior in the School of Foreign Service majoring in Culture and Politics. I grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia, which is about a two and a half hour drive from Georgetown. I find that this is the ideal distance because I feel like I'm far away from Charlottesville when I'm in DC but if I want to I can easily get home for the weekend.

When I came to Georgetown I was positive I was going to major in International Politics. Then by the beginning of my sophomore year I had decided I wanted to major in International History. When I finally had to declare my major, I decided on Culture and Politics. So don't worry if you're not sure what you want to major in now. You're allowed to change your mind!

I love it here. I have had the opportunity to do so many things. I've seen so many famous speakers and I even run into a politician now and then when I'm walking in the Georgetown area. Much of my time that isn't spent studying at Georgetown, is spent doing all sorts of service work through the Center for Social Justice here on campus. It's allowed me to really get out into the DC community and see the whole city.
