HEY YA'LL... my name is Elizabeth Zimmerman and I am from Boone, NC. I have loved my time at Georgetown. One of my favorite parts of going to college here is the city. Washington, D.C. is such an amazing place to live. In addition to all of the monuments and museums, I have gotten to attend plays, symphonies, operas, comedy shows, and concerts and the school provided tickets for most of these events. While all of this is amazing, what I really love about this school is the scholastic atmosphere. All of my professors are outstanding in their fields and challenge me to fulfill my potential. I am premed and Georgetown has really helped me along the way. Here at Georgetown there are many ways to involve yourself in what you are interested in. For instance I volunteer at the hospital and work in a biology lab. Like most major Universities, the students at Georgetown work really hard, but here they also like to have fun.
