List of International Chairs

Welcome to the GAAP State and International Chair Program! GAAP selects student volunteers from all 50 US states and many foreign countries to serve as resources for prospective and accepted students. These students are an excellent resource to find out more about what student life is like at Georgetown. Examples of questions they can answer include:

-What's it like going to school all the way across the country? OR What's it like going to school across the city?

-What do you like to do on weekends at Georgetown?

-Why did you choose Georgetown?

-What is your least favorite thing about Georgetown?

Hoya Cheerleaders-What activities are you involved in?

-How did you choose your major? What are your classes like?

GAAP students are happy to answer any questions you have about their Georgetown experience. Questions our State and International Chairs CANNOT answer include admissions-related questions such as:

-What SAT score do you need to get into Georgetown?

-What are my chanes of being admitting with a #.## GPA, #### SAT, and #### activities?

-What is the most important factor in the admissions process?

-Georgetown is my first choice school. How can I ensure that I get into Georgetown?

GAAP Members are not directly involved in the admissions process. For Admissions related queries, please see the Admissions Office website. While the Admissions process is complex and involves a wide variety of factors, the Accepted Students' Profile provides the best snapshot at the typical student accepted to Georgetown.
